Care Guide

Jewelry is delicate by nature and deserves thoughtful care. With proper handling and storage, your piece can retain its beauty and character for many years.

Our collections are crafted using materials such as gold- or silver-plated brass, stainless steel, and solid silver (925 sterling silver or 950 silver). As different materials have different characteristics, we recommend the following care guidelines.

Care for Plated Jewelry

Many of our designs feature gold or silver plating applied in multiple layers, allowing refined sculptural details and surface textures to be achieved.

To preserve the finish of plated jewelry, we recommend:

  • Avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and household chemicals.
  • Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
  • Store pieces in a dry place, preferably in a jewelry box or pouch.
  • Keep jewelry stored separately to help prevent scratches.
  • After wearing, gently wipe the piece with a soft cloth.

Over time and depending on wear conditions, plated finishes may gradually fade. This is a natural characteristic of plated jewelry.

With proper care, your jewelry can retain its beauty for a long time.

Care for Gold Vermeil Jewelry (Gold-Plated Sterling Silver)

Gold vermeil is a refined form of gold-plated jewelry, where a thick layer of gold is applied over sterling silver. It offers a more durable and elevated finish compared to standard plating, while balancing the richness of gold with the durability of sterling silver.

To preserve its beauty, we recommend:

  • Avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals
  • Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising
  • Store in a dry place when not in use
  • Gently clean with a soft cloth after wearing

With proper care, gold vermeil jewelry can maintain its finish for a long time. However, as with all plated jewelry, gradual fading may occur over time depending on wear.

Care for Solid Silver Jewelry (925 Sterling Silver & 950 Silver)

Solid silver jewelry is durable and can last for many years with proper care.

Like all silver, it may naturally develop tarnish over time when exposed to air, moisture, or certain chemicals. Tarnishing is a normal and reversible process.

To maintain your silver jewelry:

  • Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, and household chemicals.
  • Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising.
  • Store pieces in a dry place when not in use.
  • Gently polish with a silver polishing cloth to restore shine when needed.

Regular light polishing will help maintain the original brilliance of your silver jewelry.
